There was a great atmosphere at the fair - and good things to do, including workshops - and eating! Scroll down this page to see more...

Workshops

A Street Dance workshop was led by Sonia Abdallaoui and a Poetry and Creative Arts workshop by Sarah de Nordwall. One of the activities of the poetry workshop was to analyse the issues featured in the various stalls and displays by means of 'problem trees' and 'solution trees'. Both children and adults contributed to the 'trees' and created their own poems. It is hoped to have more pictures of the workshops in due course.

Just Cakes

A tempting selection of homemade cakes was on sale - all made with fairly traded ingredients. Just right for a quick snack - or to take away for tea! Fairtrade food doesn't have to be boring or tasteless!

World Food Cafe

If you wanted lunch (and who wouldn't!) there was a fantastic selection of vegetarian dishes - courtesy of Philip, of the Old Church Cafe.
(If you want to try more of Philip's cooking, the Old Church Cafe is at the Museum of Garden History, next to Lambeth Palace at the end of Lambeth Bridge. The cafe can be visited without paying the entry fee to the Museum!))

By the afternoon there was quite a crowd at the fair - you can hardly see the stalls for people! It was very encouraging that so many took an interest and came along.
